Karen Gabay will be dancing with Maykel Solas in this benefit performance at the 2011 Art Party which is a fundrasier for Arts Council Silicon Valley.  

The eclectic, inexplicable art party melds art displays and installations with experimental music, costumery, fire-breathing, oversized rocking horses and backfiring go carts, among other wacky multi-sensory intrusions.

Dress is Warehouse Glam/Masquerade Ball. Food will be available for purchase by Food Trucks

Community " Benefit" Performance

Come join Pointe of Departure for a special performance for anyone interested in seeing a behind the scenes look in the training of a dancer.  You will see a short lecture demonstration explaining how a dancer trains, actively participate in how a dancer learns choreography, see the ballet, "Children's Games" choreographed by Karen Gabay to the music of Georges Bizet, followed by a question and answer period with your favorite dancers of Pointe of Departure.
